Oilers forward Zack Kassian ‘in good spirits’ after fearsome injury in fight

Edmonton Oilers trains and players gave plus initial reports on advanced Zack Kassian ‘s condition right away he suffered a feelings injury in the aftermath in a fight against Zack MacEwen of any Vancouver Canucks on Sunday night.

Kassian hit his head on ice after his helmet fell off during the fight newer in the third period of an important 3-2 win for the Oilers in pre-season play. He had to be helped off the cool after the fight.

“Lucky, it seems like he’s passable in there, ” coach Gaga Tippett said after the movement.

“He’s got a pretty reputable bump on his head provided by hitting the ice, ” Tippett said. “But he’s back in good spirits. He was suggesting jokes when I saw him just a bit game. ”

Forward Derek Ryan talked seeing Kassian go down was most extremely scary.

Ryan said he has cemented with Kassian during the pre-season.

“He’s like my brother, skiing next to me in the locker room. So to see the doctor like that on the ice, it really makes me sick to a stomach, ” Ryan announced.
