NFL Sunday according to Twitter: Bengals claim top spot in AFC North

Since the start of the 2021 NFL season, football fans have been pretty spoiled. We’ve been treated to some thrilling matchups, from high-stakes defensive battles to shootouts that go right down to the final doink.

And then Week 7 came along. And, well, you can’t win ’em all, right? (Well, unless you’re Arizona.)

After six consecutive Sundays with at least one overtime, Week 7 brought several blowouts. Just one of Sunday’s 11 games was won by just a single score, with nine others won by double-digit margins.

Some were, understandably, expected — the Buccaneers laid a world of hurt on the Bears, the Cardinals coasted to 7-0 over the lowly Texans, and the Patriots’ tradition of embarrassing the Jets continued.

Others? Not so much — the Titans completely shut down Kansas City, the Giants delivered a dominant performance over Carolina, and the Bengals claimed the top spot in the AFC North with a statement win over Baltimore.

Here’s what Sunday’s series of blowouts looked like, with a little help from Twitter:

Titans 27, Chiefs 3

Packers 24, Washington 10

Bengals 41, Ravens 17

Giants 25, Panthers 3

Falcons 30, Dolphins 28

Patriots 54, Jets 13

Raiders 33, Eagles 22

Rams 28, Lions 19

Buccaneers 38, Bears 3

Cardinals 31, Texans 5

Colts 30, 49ers 18
