Less than one month after officially retiring from football, Tom Brady is going Hollywood.
The legendary quarterback will produce and star in a new movie for Paramount Pictures titled 80 for Brady.
In the film, which is based on a true story, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field will play four friends and New England Patriots fans who take a road trip to see Brady at 2017’s Super Bowl LI in Houston.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brady “was deeply involved with the inception of the project.” He will produce it with his production company, 199 productions, and filming is expected to begin in the spring.
Brady, 44, retired from football after 22 seasons and seven Super Bowl titles. His previous acting roles include hosting Saturday Night Live in 2005 and playing himself in the 2015 movie Ted 2.
