The Buffalo Bills have signed pass rusher Von Miller to a six-year deal.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Miller’s contract is worth $120 million. ESPN’s Adam Schefter adds that $51.5 million of Miller’s deal is guaranteed including $34 million fully guaranteed at signing.
The veteran joins the Bills after winning a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams who made a big push to bring him back after he had five sacks in eight regular season games. He had another five in the playoffs for the Rams including two in Super Bowl LVI.
Miller was traded to Los Angeles from the Denver Broncos who drafted the pass rusher with the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. The 32-year-old leads all active defensive players with 115.5 sacks in his career.
Miller has eight Pro Bowl selections and three first-team All-Pro selections and was named the MVP of Super Bowl 50 after he recorded 2.5 sacks in the Broncos win over the Carolina Panthers.
The Bills also signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard to a one-year, $3.5 million and can be worth up to $5 million total. The 19th overall pick from the 2017 NFL Draft appeared in 17 games for the Bucs last season but only had 14 receptions for 135 yards and one touchdown.
