Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The former Toronto Raptors star was sent to the Heat in a sign-and-trade this off-season and inked a three-year, $85 million deal with Miami.
The 35-year-old Lowry is averaging 13.9 points and 8.2 assists in 31 games this season.
Lowry was a six-time NBA All-Star with the Raptors and helped Toronto win the NBA title in 2019.
The Heat return from their holiday break to host the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
