Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov is out for Saturday night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes with a lower-body injury.

No further information on the injury was given by the team. Ryan Lomberg will draw into the lineup as a result.
Barkov has produced 12 points through 10 games in his ninth NHL season, all with the Panthers. He is currently tied with Olli Jokinen for the franchise goal-scoring lead at 188.
